Over 9 years ago, I left teaching to pursue my passion for decorative painting.  Over the years I have trained with many excellent faux finishing studios, as well as taking fine art classes, while growing my business.

I am skilled in all areas of decorative painting including one-of-a-kind hand painted furniture and cabinetry, custom wall murals, trompe l’oeil, single to multiple layer decorative finishes, and faux granite and marble counter and table tops.

I am constantly searching for and perfecting new ways to transform walls, floors, furniture, and canvases.

My mission is to be a leader in the decorative painting field serving each of my clients with integrity, respect, and excellence.  I truly believe that color and surroundings affect mood and that every home or business can be beautiful on any budget. "Reconsidered" furniture is my newest passion.  It is a joy to combine my love of painting and my commitment to being green. After finding treasures at estate sales, flea markets or garage sales, I apply fresh coats of paint and hand painted details to each piece.  My latest creations can be found at Le Grand Decor in Brookfield, IL.
